Alpen-G

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

That's from last weekend's quick trip to the Alps. Or Maybe it was Plain, WA? Regardless, the sledding was fantastic.

Just a little reminder that I'm still here, but I've been a little frazzled with packing/cleaning/trip planning in the last few weeks.

But I'm officially on the road now. Dialing in from the Ashland, OR Super 8 to be specific... They allow dogs, for a very fair price. What can I say, Daphne loves this chain.

Off to grab some take-out at an Applebees-like food establishment. My only obligation for the rest of the evening is to be back by 10PM for the premiere episode (and certainly the most dramatic premiere yet...) of this season's Bachelor....

Oh goodness! Last night's bachelor: comments? I'd just like to say that "my eggs are almost rotten" and that "I am ready to reproduce so please choose me". WHAT THE H? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That was so obviously an actress paid to be that ridiculous. Who, when trying to snag a man would EVER, EVER say that you're ready to reproduce??? OMAGA!
Rock on sister - drive safe. Amy

wait, guys don't like that?

We LOVE that. Nothing will land you a man quicker than asking him to fill you with his babies.

So (off topic here) G I'd like to see Daph's expressions at various establishments across the country. I'd like her to RATE the STATES. I know she acts like she's not choosey, but she knows what she likes.

And- Are you finding any good placemats?

(am I the only one finding these word verification fonts getting a tad challenging?)

Glad you're back from your e-hiatus and congrats on da move. I agree with Anne--let's have Daphne rate the states. I'd love to compare notes w/her on the Dakotas and Iowa. Iowa: dat's a lotta farmland, yo.

And I find the word verifications are often the most challenging thing my brain does all day. Sad but true.

definitely pictures of daphane in different hotels/stores/places/etc. are a must. Hopefully you will read this before you get too far. And if possible with different hats on that she tries on at the various crappy tourist stores. Especially a red cowboy hat.

Stephanie glad I'm not alone in my word verification efforts! :)

Over a week ago, I saw Gina's show- stopping karaoking...she was channeling Pat Benetar and Patsy Cline...
A week ago, Gina departed to cross the country with her closest companions.

We imagine the red cowboy hats and other local bonnets... and I YEARN to see how this move will affect her karaoke repertoire.

C'mONN, let's CLAP! ! ! ! !

Hey Gina-sensette... if you're in Oregon look up BugerVille. you won't be disappointed (unless you hate hamburgers). It's awesome...

It's Burgerville! And I'm guessing that Gina-G might already be in the DC area... she just hasn't made it out of her love induced haze to blog!

Hi All! For some reason I wasn't getting comments e-mailed to me like I used to... perhaps blogger.com is punishing me for being a slacker?

Anyway- I WISH I would have read about the Daphne state-rater idea, as we have already arrived and I caught no pictures of her in a red cowboy had... dang it!

I'll recap the whole trip though- perhaps tomorrow when I need a break from sleeping-in, not working, and unpacking!?

And yes, having lived in Longview, WA for 2 years, I am very familiar with Burgerville, and I love it. I did stop at one in Oregon and had a Hazelnut shake that resulted in a feeling that is likely very similar to the high one experiences from smokin' crack. Yum.
